ニューヨークを拠点に活動するエクスペリメンタル・ブラックメタル・バンド、Liturgyが 2023年3月24日に新作叙事詩的ダブル・アルバム『93696』をリリースすることを発表しました。
アルバム・タイトル曲「93696」とミニ・アルバム『As the Blood of God Bursts the Veins of Time』がリリースされており、ミニアルバムは、ニューアルバムのタイトル曲である「93」「36」、3楽章のオルタナティヴ・テイク「696」、そして「संसार」を収録した全曲新曲。93696」と「संसार」は共にグループの新たな方向性を示唆すると同時に、ギター＆ボーカルのRavenna Hunt-Hendrix、ギターのMario Miron、ベースのTia Vincent-Clark、ドラマーのLeo Didkovskyによる、評価の高いバンドの力を再認識させるものです。
