5年振りのリリースとなったセカンド・アルバム。新たにギタリストFrançois Le Lyon、ドラマーDanny Leeが加入。First FragmentやBeyond Creationを彷彿とさせるうねるベースラインを取り入れ、スウェディッシュ・デスメタルのエレメンツを組み込んだメロディアスなテクニカル・デスメタルをプレイ。「The Diving Mask」のプログレッシヴな趣、「In the Minds of the Sculptor」のシュレッダーリフの応酬、クラシカルなドラマ性溢れるテクニカル・サウンドを流麗に聴かせるセンスを感じる。

2009年トゥールで結成。前身バンドNecroticismが改名する形で活動がスタートし、ギタリストEric Haure-Touzet、ベーシストJohann Sadokを中心に、ボーカルBaptiste、ギター/ボーカルJulio、当時Kronosでも活動していたドラマーQuentin Regnaultで本作を制作した。奇奇怪怪とした展開美を誇り、Nocturnusを彷彿とさせる複雑なメロディ、時折スラッシーに鋭く刻み込まれるリフがファストに躍動。「Penitentiary of Letdown」や「Cerebral Hemispheres」はテクニカル・デスメタルの美しさの極み。
