カナダ・オンタリオを拠点に活動するポストハードコア・バンド、Silversteinが、新曲「Skin & Bones」のミュージックビデオを公開しました。このMVはWyatt Cloughによって監督されている。 ヴォーカルのShane Told「Skin & Bones」について次のように語っている：

「”Skin & Bones”は、かつてとても親しかった人を突然亡くしたことについて書かれた、深く感情的な曲なんだ。 毎日、私たちは自分の頭の中に閉じこもって、つまらないことを心配している。 人生は一瞬にして消えてしまう。 砂漠の真ん中にあるジョシュア・ツリーでのレコーディングは、まるで真っ白なキャンバスから始めるような気分だった。 外的な気晴らしがないため、私は自分の内側に注意を向けていることに気づいた。 自分は本当はどう感じていたのか？ 自分が本当に言いたかったことは何だったのか？ それを見つけたとたん、演奏が私の中からあふれ出てきたんだ。 しゃべり、歌い、叫び、叫び……この曲ではすべてが生の感情だ」。

Silverstein have released a new music video for “Skin & Bones,” directed by Wyatt Clough. The new track is part of the Canadian post-hardcore band’s latest efforts.

Vocalist Shane Told shared the following:

‘Skin & Bones’ is a deeply emotional song, written about the sudden loss of a person who was once very close to me. Everyday we’re stuck in our own heads worrying about trivial things and never thinking about just how fragile we are. Life can be gone in an instant. I lost one of the greatest people I ever knew.

Recording out in Joshua Tree, in the middle of the desert, made it feel like we were starting with a totally blank canvas. Without external distractions, I found myself turning my attention inward. How did I really feel? What did I really want to say about it? And once I found that, the performance just poured out of me. Talking, singing, yelling, screaming…it’s all raw emotion in this track.
