アメリカ・ジョージア州を拠点に活動するメロディック・デスメタル/グルーヴメタル・バンド、Dååth (ドス) が最新フルアルバム『The Deceivers』の収録曲「Unwelcome Return」のミュージックビデオを公開しました。

このリリースは、彼らの14年ぶりとなる新作スタジオ作品であり、Metal Blade Recordsより発売中である。前作はセルフタイトルアルバム『Dååth』で2000年にリリースされている。バンドには下記のメンバーが新加入している。

Jesse Zuretti Guitars, Orchestrations, Synthesizers (2022年加入) *Binary Codeにも所属中
David Marvuglio Bass (2023年加入) *Chuggernaut, Lesser Glowにも所属中
Krimh Drums (2023年加入) *Act of Denial, Krimh, Septicfleshにも所属中
Rafael Trujillo Guitars (lead) (2023年加入) *Obsidiousに所属中で、元Obscura

残っていたメンバーはオリジナル・ギタリストのEyal Leviと2008年に加入したボーカルSean Zatorskyの2名だ。

『The Deceivers』は、Dååthにとって重要な瞬間であり、彼らの技術力とブルータルな激しさの両方を示している。Leviは次のように語っている「今のDÅÅTHは、よりオーケストレーションされ、よりダイナミックになっている。よりメロディがあり、美しいんだ」。
