New Miserable Experience（Rivers of Nihil、Rosetta、ex-Revocation、Model Prisonerのメンバーによるポストメタル・プロジェクト）は、新曲「Ataraxia」を公開した。
この楽曲は、2026年1月23日にPelagic Recordsからリリース予定のデビューアルバム『Gild the Lily』に収録される予定で、公式映像を通じて視聴できる。バンドは「’Ataraxia’はBrody Uttleyのアイデアとして始まった。Portisheadタイプの雰囲気があり、そこにすぐ惹かれた」とコメントしている。歌詞については「人生が崩れ落ちる際、心的または感情的な動揺のない平静さである‘Ataraxia’の概念が非常に魅力的に思えた」と述べた。

アメリカ・ボストンのハードコア／デスロックバンド Final Gasp は、セカンドアルバム『New Day Symptoms』を2月にリリースすることを発表し、リード曲「The Apparition」のミュージックビデオを公開した。新作『New Day Symptoms』は、2026年2月27日に Relapse Records から発売される予定である。
「The Apparition」のミュージックビデオは、Caleb Gowett と Bill Politis が共同で監督を務めており、映像作品として公開されている。『New Day Symptoms』は、Final Gasp の2023年デビューアルバム『Mourning Moon』に続く2作目のフルアルバムで、10曲が収録予定となっている。収録予定曲には、「Eternal Silence」、「Look Away」、「The Apparition」、「Gifted Shame」、「No Hand To Lead」、「Prediction」、「Burials Of Birth」、「Fractures」、「New Day Symptoms」、「Pale Sun」などが含まれている。
「Secret History of the Mongols」は、2026年1月9日にリリースされるデビューアルバム『Human Herds』の収録曲として発表される。アルバムは Napalm Records から発売される予定であり、UUHAI は同日からヨーロッパツアーを行う予定である。ツアーは、Nanowar Of Steel ほか複数のアクトとの共演で、オランダ・ティルブルフの公演を皮切りに複数都市を巡るスケジュールとなっている。

Electric Callboy が、Sum 41 のクラシックナンバー 「Still Waiting」 の公式ミュージックビデオを公開した。本楽曲は同バンドによるカバーで、映像はオンラインで視聴可能である。
「Still Waiting」は、Sum 41 の楽曲を Electric Callboy 自身のスタイルで再構築したもので、ドラムには Sum 41 のドラマー Frank Zummo が参加しているカバーバージョンとして制作された。
Electric Callboy はこれまでに「Elevator Operator」「Revery」「Tanzneid」などのシングルをリリースしており、2025年〜2026年にかけて大規模な世界ツアーを展開している。今回の「Still Waiting」カバーもそのツアー期間中のライヴ活動と絡めたリリースとして提示されている.
「infinite source」は、Deftones の10枚目のスタジオアルバム Private Music に収録されているトラックで、映像には2025年に同バンドが行ったアリーナツアー中の映像が使用されている. アルバム Private Music は2025年8月22日にリリースされており、Alternative Metal と Shoegaze の要素を融合した作品として制作されている.

「Hosting The Shadow」は、Lacuna Coil の2025年リリースのスタジオアルバム 『Sleepless Empire』 に収録された楽曲で、同作はゴシックメタルとオルタナティブな要素を融合させた音楽性を特徴としている。アルバムは2025年2月14日に Century Media Records からリリースされた。
今回公開されたミュージックビデオは、バンドと Randy Blythe がパフォーマンスを披露する映像を中心に構成されている。また、Lacuna Coil は2026年春の米国ツアーを発表しており、Escape The Fate、VOWWS、AXTY などをゲストに迎えて複数都市を巡る予定となっている。
ペンシルベニア州ウィルクスバーグ出身のヘヴィメタル・トリオ The Virgos が、レーベル Season of Mist と契約。The Virgos の全ディスコグラフィーを同レーベル取り扱いのストリーミングプラットフォームで利用可能にした。また、「Yes」のミュージックビデオも公開している。
The Virgos はヴォーカル／ギターの Andy Saba、ベース／ヴォーカルの Danni Crockett、ドラムの Eli Gerrity によるパワートリオで、結成以前には Bad Seed、Harm’s Way、Nails などでの活動歴を持つメンバーで構成されている。サウンドはクラシックなヘヴィネスとサイケデリックな要素を融合させたスタイルである。
インダストリアル・メタル/ニューメタル・バンド Static-X が、1999年のデビューアルバム 『Wisconsin Death Trip』 の日本盤ボーナストラックであった B サイド曲 「Down」のストリーミング配信を解禁した。あわせて、新たに制作されたビジュアライザー映像も公開されている。

The original photographer for the packaging unearthed hundreds of never before seen photos from the shoot and the band have used them to completely redesign the packaging.
