デスコア／ビートダウンハードコア・バンド Paleface Swiss が、ニューシングル Everything Is Fine の配信およびミュージックビデオ（MV）を公開した。
この“Everything Is Fine”は、バンドが2026年1月2日にリリースを予定しているEP The Wilted EP のクロージング・トラックとなっている。
ヴォーカルの Marc “Zelli” Zellweger によると、本曲は「変えられない状況に囚われた二人の恋人たち」の物語を描いており、不当な試練に傷つきながらも、痛みを麻痺させようとしてさらに傷ついていく──というテーマを持つという。なお、バンドは直近で、10月に “Let Me Sleep”、さらにチャリティ・シングル “Instrument Of War” を発表しており、“Everything Is Fine”はそれらに続く作品となる。
デスコア・バンド Slaughter To Prevail のボーカリスト Alex Terrible が、Falling In Reverse の 2025年シングル「God Is A Weapon」をカバーし、その映像を公開した。
このカバー作品は、Falling In Reverse のオリジナル曲の要素を保持しつつ、Alex Terrible らしいグロウルとヘヴィなアレンジを加えたものとなっている。映像は Alex Terrible の公式チャンネル等で視聴可能だ。彼は過去にも Falling In Reverse と共演歴があり、両バンドはツアーでともに回ったこともある。今回のカバーは、両者の関係性を再び示すものとして注目されている。
アメリカ・ピッツバーグ出身のデスコア・バンド、Signs of the Swarmが、ニューシングル「Natural Selection」とそのミュージックビデオを公開した。最新アルバム To Rid Myself of Truth がCentury Media Recordsより本日2025年8月22日にリリースされたことにあわせ、シングルと映像も同日に発表された。
本作は、バンドのライブでは“決定的瞬間”と評される壮絶なナンバーであり、ドラムの Bobby Crowは「6枚目のアルバム、遂に世に出せることができとても感慨深いです」と語っている。映像はEric DiCarlo（SquareUp Studios）が演出を担当しており、ストーリー性や重厚な演出が楽曲にさらなる躍動感を与えている。
なお、Signs of the Swarmはこのリリースを受け、Mental Cruelty、Ten56.、Carcosa、Face Yourselfとともに北米ツアーを10月から11月にかけて実施予定だ。今回のニューシングルとミュージックビデオの公開、そして待望のアルバムのリリースは、バンドの成熟とさらに深化したサウンドへの期待を高めるものとなっている。
“‘A Visceral Retch’ is a song that fans of “The Somatic Defilement” will latch onto immediately. It was one of the first songs we had in the chamber to work with. This song came to light thanks mostly to [guitarist] Zach Householder. He showed us and we all immediately said, ‘yup, that’s it.’ Zach is notorious for very dark and horror-like vibes so this album is right in his wheelhouse. The song is disturbing. Imagine being put in a situation of survival by gluttonous, mammoth demons that give you a choice. Eat the demons’ waste, eat each other, or starve to death. The twist, you’re against the people you love the most. It’s a way to find the ones that are truly evil people to build and strengthen their cult. カナダ・アルバータ州レッドディアを拠点に活動するブラッケンド・テクニカル・デスコア・バンド、Art of Attritionがニュー・シングル「Emaciate」とミュージックビデオを公開した。 この曲は、現在発売中のEP『…And it Will All End Forever』からのもので、YouTubeとSpotifyでストリーミング配信されている。
Blackened technical deathcore band from Red Deer, Alberta, Canada Art of Attrition premiere a new single and music video by the name of “Emaciate”. The track is taken from their current EP “…And it Will All End Forever”, out in stores now.
The Western Massachusetts rogressive deathcore heavyweights quartet Within The Ruins have just dropped the video for their brutal new track, “Demon Killer.” The song is featured on their latest album, Phenomena II, which is out now via MNRK Heavy.
Guitarist Joe Cocchi shared the following:
We had written a handful of songs, and we were searching for inspiration. We wanted to celebrate the tenth anniversary of Phenomena, because it was a pinnacle point of our career. I wrote a demo that reminded [vocalist] Steve [Tinnon] of Phenomena. So, it was his idea to create Phenomena II. The styles really aligned in terms of the unique guitar effects and the themes where each track tells a story from a comic book character’s point-of-view.
Vocalist Steve Tinnon added:
When you listen to us, we hope you feel like you found some fresh metal. After doing anything for a long time, it’s easy to get stuck in your ways. So, we always try to present something you haven’t heard before — and you aren’t going to get anywhere else.
バンドは、5月9日にリリース予定のアルバムのファースト・シングルを近日リリースするようだ。さらに、『Entabeni』には、Signs Of The SwarmのDavid Simonich、BodysnatcherのKyle Medina、PeelingFleshのDamonteal Harrisといったスペシャルゲストが参加するようだ。アルバムのミックス＆マスタリングはCryptopsyのChristian Donaldsonが担当。
