Buffalo metalcore band It Dies Today have given an online debut to their now finished version of their track, “Son Of Dawn, Brilliant Star“. A demo version of that song first began circulating back in 2014, with the song not being completed in the studio until now. This finalized take on the track carries the abbreviated title of “Son Of Dawn” also features the drumming talents of the band’s latest recruit, drummer John Runkle, who officially became a member of the group earlier this month.

August Burns Red are back with another independently released single, “Exhumed“. The team of Carson Slovak and Grant McFarland (The Ghost Inside, ERRA) once again oversaw the production and engineering duties for Lancaster, PA-based melodic metalcore band this time out.
Memphis May Fire have premiered their fourth new single, “Infection” via Rise Records. Over the last few months, the band has previously shared the singles “Chaotic”, “Paralyzed” and “Necessary Evil”, but no current news if these tracks will be included on an upcoming album.
Vocalist Matty Mullins shared the following:
‘Infection’ dives deep into the pain of betrayal and the toxicity that can spread like a virus,” shares Mullins. “This song is about recognizing the destructive forces in your life, calling them out, and reclaiming your power. It’s not just about surviving the infection; it’s about emerging stronger, with the scars to prove it. This track captures the intensity of feeling used and manipulated, and the resolve to no longer be a victim to someone else’s venom.

Haste The Day are gearing up for their long-awaited return with new music set to drop in October. The Indiana metalcore outfit has been quiet since their 2015 album Coward, which preceded a hiatus that left the band inactive for years.
Last February, the group officially resurfaced, and just last month, they confirmed work on a new studio album. Fans can likely expect the first single from that record to hit next month.

Ohio metalcore outfit Attack Attack! have shared a fourth single, “We All Meet Up In The End”, via Oxide Records.
As with the previous three singles, former guitarist Andrew Whiting is given a writing credit on the track, so it too seems to have been written before the guitarist’s departure.

Poison The Well has shared plans to finally release a follow up to group’s 2009 full-length The Tropic Rot. The sixth studio album will be the first from the band in fifteen years and as of now not much information has been revealed.
News of the new album comes in the form of a short note included in the new box set the band released earlier this month. Which sold out the same day.

The Western Massachusetts rogressive deathcore heavyweights quartet Within The Ruins have just dropped the video for their brutal new track, “Demon Killer.” The song is featured on their latest album, Phenomena II, which is out now via MNRK Heavy.
Guitarist Joe Cocchi shared the following:
We had written a handful of songs, and we were searching for inspiration. We wanted to celebrate the tenth anniversary of Phenomena, because it was a pinnacle point of our career. I wrote a demo that reminded [vocalist] Steve [Tinnon] of Phenomena. So, it was his idea to create Phenomena II. The styles really aligned in terms of the unique guitar effects and the themes where each track tells a story from a comic book character’s point-of-view.
Vocalist Steve Tinnon added:
When you listen to us, we hope you feel like you found some fresh metal. After doing anything for a long time, it’s easy to get stuck in your ways. So, we always try to present something you haven’t heard before — and you aren’t going to get anywhere else.
