アメリカ・サンディエゴを拠点に活動するメタルコア・バンド、As I Lay Dying (アズ・アイ・レイ・ダイング) が、ニューシングル「We Are The Dead」をリリースしました。この楽曲には、Slaughter To PrevailのボーカリストAlex Terribleと、Chelsea GrinのTom Barber がフィーチャリング・ゲストとして参加している。この楽曲は、2024年11月15日にNapalm Recordsからリリースされることが予定されている彼らのニュー・アルバム『Through Storms Ahead』からの先行シングル第3弾だ。合わせてミュージックビデオが公開されているので、必ずチェックしよう。

デスコアという音楽ジャンルのトップを走り続けるバンド、Whitechapel (ホワイトチャペル) が、新曲「A Visceral Retch」を配信リリースしました。この楽曲では、Whitechapelの新ドラマーであるex.Enterprise EarthのBrandon Zackeyが参加している。

この楽曲について、ボーカリストのPhil Bozemanがコメントを発表している。

“‘A Visceral Retch’ is a song that fans of “The Somatic Defilement” will latch onto immediately. It was one of the first songs we had in the chamber to work with. This song came to light thanks mostly to [guitarist] Zach Householder. He showed us and we all immediately said, ‘yup, that’s it.’ Zach is notorious for very dark and horror-like vibes so this album is right in his wheelhouse. The song is disturbing. Imagine being put in a situation of survival by gluttonous, mammoth demons that give you a choice. Eat the demons’ waste, eat each other, or starve to death. The twist, you’re against the people you love the most. It’s a way to find the ones that are truly evil people to build and strengthen their cult. アメリカ・フロリダのメタルコア・バンド、Underoath が新曲「Teeth」を公開しました。この曲は、SiriusXM Octaneで初公開されている。 ヴォーカルのSpencer Chamberlainは、この曲の歌詞に込められた意味を掘り下げて、以下のように語っている。

アメリカ・ニューヨーク/バッファローを代表するベテラン・メタルコア・バンド、”It Dies Today”が、彼らの楽曲「Son Of Dawn, Brilliant Star」の完成版を正式にリリースしました。 この曲のデモ・バージョンが最初に出回り始めたのは2014年のことで、これまでスタジオ録音の音源は、完成していなかった。 この曲の最終的なテイクは「Son Of Dawn」という略されたタイトルを持ち、バンドの最新の新人ドラマー、John Runkle (ジョン・ランクル)のドラムの才能をフィーチャーしている。

Buffalo metalcore band It Dies Today have given an online debut to their now finished version of their track, “Son Of Dawn, Brilliant Star“. A demo version of that song first began circulating back in 2014, with the song not being completed in the studio until now. This finalized take on the track carries the abbreviated title of “Son Of Dawn” also features the drumming talents of the band’s latest recruit, drummer John Runkle, who officially became a member of the group earlier this month.

メタルコア・バンド、Memphis May Fireが、4枚目となるニュー・シングル「Infection」をRise Recordsから発表しました。 ここ数ヶ月の間に、バンドは新曲「Chaotic」、「Paralyzed」、「Necessary Evil」を次々と発表しているが、これらの曲が次のアルバムに収録されるかどうかの最新情報は今の所ない。

ヴォーカルのMatty Mullinsはこの曲について次のように語っている。

Memphis May Fire have premiered their fourth new single, “Infection” via Rise Records. Over the last few months, the band has previously shared the singles “Chaotic”, “Paralyzed” and “Necessary Evil”, but no current news if these tracks will be included on an upcoming album.

Vocalist Matty Mullins shared the following:

‘Infection’ dives deep into the pain of betrayal and the toxicity that can spread like a virus,” shares Mullins. “This song is about recognizing the destructive forces in your life, calling them out, and reclaiming your power. It’s not just about surviving the infection; it’s about emerging stronger, with the scars to prove it. This track captures the intensity of feeling used and manipulated, and the resolve to no longer be a victim to someone else’s venom.

2001 年にインディアナ州カーメルで結成されたメタルコア・バンド、Haste The Day (ヘイスト・ザ・デイ) は、10月に新曲をリリースし、待望の復活に向けて準備を進めていることが知られている。 2015年にリリースしたアルバム『Coward』以来、沈黙を守ってきた彼らは、2023年2月に正式に復活することを発表し、2024年8月、新しいスタジオ・アルバムの制作を進めていることを発表した。 来月には、そのアルバムからのファースト・シングルがリリースされる予定とのこと。彼らのソーシャルメディアをフォローしておこう!

Haste The Day are gearing up for their long-awaited return with new music set to drop in October. The Indiana metalcore outfit has been quiet since their 2015 album Coward, which preceded a hiatus that left the band inactive for years.

Last February, the group officially resurfaced, and just last month, they confirmed work on a new studio album. Fans can likely expect the first single from that record to hit next month.

アメリカのレーベルTheoria Recordsに所属し、現在人気急上昇中の名古屋を拠点に活動するポストハードコア/メタルコア・バンド、SCYLA (シーラ) が、今年来日を果たしたアメリカのポストハードコア・バンド、SoftspokenのボーカリストSamをフィーチャーした新曲「A Grave for Dreamers」を配信リリースしました。この楽曲はSpotify、Apple Musicなどで視聴することが出来る。

フロリダ出身のメタルコア・バンド、Poison The Well (ポイズン・ザ・ウェル)は、2009年にリリースしたフルアルバム『The Tropic Rot』の続編をリリースする予定であることを明らかにした。 この6枚目のスタジオ・アルバムは、バンドにとって15年ぶりの作品となるが、今のところ多くの情報は明かされていない。 ニュー・アルバムのニュースは、バンドが今月初めにリリースした新しいボックス・セットに収録された短いメモの形でもたらされた。 このボックス・セットは即日完売。同梱のメモにはこうある：

Poison The Well has shared plans to finally release a follow up to group’s 2009 full-length The Tropic Rot. The sixth studio album will be the first from the band in fifteen years and as of now not much information has been revealed.

News of the new album comes in the form of a short note included in the new box set the band released earlier this month. Which sold out the same day.

マサチューセッツ州西部に拠点を置くプログレッシヴ・デスコアの重鎮、Within The Ruinsが、ブルータルな新曲「Demon Killer」のミュージックビデオを公開しました。

この曲は、MNRK Heavyから発売中の最新アルバム『Phenomena II』の収録。 ギタリストのJoe Cocchiは以下のように語っている：

「私たちはほんの一握りの曲を書いただけで、インスピレーションを探していた。 2014年にリリースしたアルバム『Phenomena』の10周年を祝いたかったし、それは私たちのキャリアの頂点だったからね。 2018年に加入したヴォーカルのSteve Tinnonと共に『Phenomena』を思い出させるデモを書いたんだ。 それで、彼のアイデアで『Phenomena II』を作ったんだ。 ユニークなギター・エフェクトや、各トラックがコミック・ブックのキャラクターの視点から物語を語るというテーマという点で、スタイルが実に合致していたと思うよ」。

The Western Massachusetts rogressive deathcore heavyweights quartet Within The Ruins have just dropped the video for their brutal new track, “Demon Killer.” The song is featured on their latest album, Phenomena II, which is out now via MNRK Heavy.

Guitarist Joe Cocchi shared the following:

We had written a handful of songs, and we were searching for inspiration. We wanted to celebrate the tenth anniversary of Phenomena, because it was a pinnacle point of our career. I wrote a demo that reminded [vocalist] Steve [Tinnon] of Phenomena. So, it was his idea to create Phenomena II. The styles really aligned in terms of the unique guitar effects and the themes where each track tells a story from a comic book character’s point-of-view.

Vocalist Steve Tinnon added:

When you listen to us, we hope you feel like you found some fresh metal. After doing anything for a long time, it’s easy to get stuck in your ways. So, we always try to present something you haven’t heard before — and you aren’t going to get anywhere else.
