「Eon of Obscenity」は、2026年1月30日にリリース予定の Stabbing のセカンド・フルアルバム Eon of Obscenity の中心となる楽曲であり、バンドのデス・メタルとしての激烈なサウンドとテーマ性を打ち出すものとして位置付けられている。

ROMAN CANDLE are a visceral and emotionally charged hardcore band from Las Vegas, Nevada, built around the creative core of Piper Ferrari (vocals) and Jonas Vece (guitar). Emerging from the ashes of their former project sowithout., the two formed ROMAN CANDLE with a vision to push the boundaries of hardcore through vulnerability, intensity, and intentionality.
Rooted in the lineage of bands like Saetia, Touché Amoré, and Poison The Well, ROMAN CANDLE blends classic screamo sensibilities with a modern edge—balancing raw catharsis and poetic tension. Their 2022 debut EP Discount Fireworks marked them as a standout in the Las Vegas underground. After spending much of 2023 & 2024 showcasing their new material live, the band’s reputation for emotionally resonant, tightly wound songs that leave nothing on the table was further cemented. The band also spent a considerable amount of time on the road with bands like Dying Wish, Boundaries, Militare Gun, Foreign Hands, Pool Kids and one off shows with Touché Amoré, Botch, Better Lovers and more.
Known for fiercely passionate live performances, ROMAN CANDLE has become a vital voice in the evolving Las Vegas hardcore scene. As a femme-fronted band, Piper Ferrari brings a rare and welcome presence to the genre, challenging norms and creating space for a more inclusive scene. Alongside Jonas Vece’s cutting guitar work and atmospheric tension, the band captures a sense of urgency that’s both deeply personal and powerfully collective.
With a full-length album on the horizon and growing attention beyond their hometown, ROMAN CANDLE is shaping a future for screamo that feels just as emotionally immediate as its roots.
来日経験もあるオランダの女性ボーカル・メタルコア・バンド、For I Am Kingが新曲「Liars」のミュージックビデオを公開しました。Miss May IやFit For A Kingを彷彿とさせる、純度100%のメロディック・メタルコア、女性ボーカルのAlmaは高いテクニックでドラマティックに楽曲を仕立てています。
オランダのシンフォニック・メタル・ベテラン、Within Temptation がEP『Don’t Pray For Me』をSpinefarm Recordsからリリースしました。初公開となる新曲「Don’t Pray For Me」をはじめ、2019年に発表したアルバム『Resist』以降に発表したシングルを集めた作品となっており、インストゥルメンタル・バージョンの楽曲も収録されている。
前作『Time Will Die and Love Will Bury It』から4年振り、通算6枚目のスタジオ・アルバムは、ドラマーAl Pott加入後、最初のアルバムとなる。2015年の『Grievances』に始まり、2018年の『Time Will Die And Love Will Bury It』と続く意図しない3部作の最終章として、バンド自身本作は過去最高傑作だと話している。
2000年代後半からRolo Tomassiを追いかけている、またはなんとなく知っているリスナーにとって、彼/彼女らは間違いなく「マスコア/カオティック・ハードコア」として認識しているはずだ。芸術性の高いサウンドはフック、グルーヴとは違った美的感覚を持ち、長年それをRolo Tomassiらしさとして維持してきた。前作辺りからそのサウンドに大きな変化が現れ、いわゆる現代ヨーロッパのメタルコア/ポストハードコア、言ってしまえばBring Me The Horizonのオルタナティヴな感覚を取り込み、「メタルコア」としてもカテゴライズできるようなサウンドをプレイし始めた。もちろんベースにあるのはマスコアであるのだが、静と動、そして緩急を操りながら新しいサウンドを聴かせてくれる。
