It Dies Today、10年越しに完成させたシングル「Son Of Dawn」を正式リリース!

アメリカ・ニューヨーク/バッファローを代表するベテラン・メタルコア・バンド、”It Dies Today”が、彼らの楽曲「Son Of Dawn, Brilliant Star」の完成版を正式にリリースしました。 この曲のデモ・バージョンが最初に出回り始めたのは2014年のことで、これまでスタジオ録音の音源は、完成していなかった。 この曲の最終的なテイクは「Son Of Dawn」という略されたタイトルを持ち、バンドの最新の新人ドラマー、John Runkle (ジョン・ランクル)のドラムの才能をフィーチャーしている。

Buffalo metalcore band It Dies Today have given an online debut to their now finished version of their track, “Son Of Dawn, Brilliant Star“. A demo version of that song first began circulating back in 2014, with the song not being completed in the studio until now. This finalized take on the track carries the abbreviated title of “Son Of Dawn” also features the drumming talents of the band’s latest recruit, drummer John Runkle, who officially became a member of the group earlier this month.

FEVER333として活躍したことで知られるAric Improta（ドラム）とStephen Harrison（ギター）による話題の新プロジェクト”House of Protection”が、Red Bull Recordsから待望のデビューEP『GALORE』をリリースした。

Jordan Fish（ex-Bring Me The Horizon）がエグゼクティブ・プロデューサーを務めた全6曲で構成されており、この2人の卓越した演奏力を全面に押し出した、全力で駆け抜けるパッケージとなっている。バンド結成からわずか4ヶ月で、「It’s Supposed To Hurt,」、「Learn To Forget,」、「Being One,」、そして最新シングル「Pulling Teeth」といった4つのシングルをリリースし、ジャンルに縛られないサウンドを披露してきた。この作品は、『The Guardian』や『NME』、『Alt Press』などの音楽プレスから高い評価を得ており、『GALORE』のカタルシスに満ちたエネルギーを予感させるものとなっている。

『GALORE』の制作について、House of Protectionは次のようにコメントしている。「このEPは、これから私たちが届ける音楽の方向性を示す大切な作品なんだ。様々なスタイルや雰囲気が詰まっていて、常にエネルギー全開です。これがあなたのインスピレーションになれば嬉しいね。ようこそ、私たちの家へ」。

このEPでは、新曲「Better Off」と「Fuse」が初披露されている。「Fuse」は、90年代のレイヴシーンを彷彿とさせるノスタルジックな一曲で、パンクの態度、ロックのリフ、そしてThe Prodigyを思わせるエレクトロニックな要素が満載だ。高エネルギーでハードコアなスタイルを貫きながらも、ボーカルが落ち着いた瞬間があり、この曲が彼らにとって初のボーカル作であることが信じられないほどだ。また本日公開された公式ビデオでは、AricとStephenが地下の倉庫スペースで、2つのプラットフォームを使って観客を圧倒するパフォーマンスを披露している。

「Fuse」について、Aricは次のように語っている。「俺にとって、『Fuse』はアルバムの中心的な曲に感じてるんだ。ヴァースでは初期の曲にあったあの生々しいエレクトロニックなエネルギーが詰まっていて、サビではSteveのボーカルとJordanのプロダクションが対照的でリッチになっている。この曲は仕上げた後も、一番よく聴いている曲だと思うよ。」

アメリカ・ニューヨーク州バッファローを拠点とするメタルコア・バンド、Until I Wake (アンティル・アイ・ウェイク) がニュー・シングル「The Reverence」をFearless Recordsから配信リリース、そしてリリックビデオを公開しました。 この曲は、バンドのファンに最新のヴォーカリストであるJustin Smithをさらに紹介するような、個性あふれる楽曲に仕上がっている。

この曲は、Justin Smithを正式にグループに迎えてから2曲目のリリースとなる。 The Plot In YouのLandon Tewersが制作とレコーディングを担当したこの曲について、Justinは次のように語っている：

メタルコア・バンド”August Burns Red”、自主レーベルからニュー・シングル「Exhumed」をリリース!

アメリカ・ペンシルベニア州ランカスターを拠点に活動するメタルコア・バンド、August Burns Red (オーガスト・バーンズ・レッド)が、ニュー・シングル 「Exhumed」を自主レーベルである「ABR Records」からリリースしました。この楽曲はリリックビデオが公式発表されているほか、Spotify、Apple Musicなどの主要音楽プラットフォームでも視聴することが出来る。

イギリスを拠点に活動するメタルコア・バンド、Our Hollow, Our Homeが、新曲「The Worst In Me」を配信リリースしました。この楽曲は、活動休止を発表しているバンドの最後のスタジオ・アルバム『Hope & Hell』に収録される。このアルバムは、2024年9月27日にリリースされることが決定しており、Arising Empire から発表される。

2016年に埼玉・熊谷で結成されたメタルコア・バンド、SENSE OF DEFEATが、通算6枚目のシングル「Paradigm Down」のリリックビデオをアップロードしました。。ボーカリストToshi、ギタリストYuichi、ギター/コーラスRamirezからなる3人組の新曲は、胸に染み入るようなメロディとプログレッシヴ/アヴァンギャルドなテクニカルなギターリフが巧みに交差していく個性的な仕上がりとなっている。9月6日には東京・新宿ANTIKNOCKにてAlphoenix、SIERRA、細、Solve et Coagula、Atermon Phos を迎えリリース・ショウ「Past of Paradox」を成功させた。

シングルは9月8日に各種プラットフォームにて配信となる。

メタルコア・バンド、Memphis May Fireが、4枚目となるニュー・シングル「Infection」をRise Recordsから発表しました。 ここ数ヶ月の間に、バンドは新曲「Chaotic」、「Paralyzed」、「Necessary Evil」を次々と発表しているが、これらの曲が次のアルバムに収録されるかどうかの最新情報は今の所ない。

ヴォーカルのMatty Mullinsはこの曲について次のように語っている。

「”Infection “は裏切りの痛みとウィルスのように広がる毒性を深く掘り下げているんだ。この曲は、自分の人生における破壊的な力を認識し、それを呼び起こし、自分の力を取り戻すことを歌っている。 それは単に感染から生き延びるということではなく、それを証明する傷跡とともに、より強くなることなのだ。 この曲は、利用され、操られていると感じることの激しさと、もはや誰かの毒の犠牲者にはならないという決意を表現しているよ」。

Memphis May Fire have premiered their fourth new single, “Infection” via Rise Records. Over the last few months, the band has previously shared the singles “Chaotic”, “Paralyzed” and “Necessary Evil”, but no current news if these tracks will be included on an upcoming album.

Vocalist Matty Mullins shared the following:

‘Infection’ dives deep into the pain of betrayal and the toxicity that can spread like a virus,” shares Mullins. “This song is about recognizing the destructive forces in your life, calling them out, and reclaiming your power. It’s not just about surviving the infection; it’s about emerging stronger, with the scars to prove it. This track captures the intensity of feeling used and manipulated, and the resolve to no longer be a victim to someone else’s venom.

ニューメタルコア・バンド、Lotus Eaterの元メンバーとして知られるCam Humphreyの新プロジェクト、Love is Noiseが、2025年2月15日にCentury Media Recordsからリリースされるデビュー・アルバム『To Live a Different Way』からのファースト・シングル「Take.One.Minute」をリリースしました。

2001 年にインディアナ州カーメルで結成されたメタルコア・バンド、Haste The Day (ヘイスト・ザ・デイ) は、10月に新曲をリリースし、待望の復活に向けて準備を進めていることが知られている。 2015年にリリースしたアルバム『Coward』以来、沈黙を守ってきた彼らは、2023年2月に正式に復活することを発表し、2024年8月、新しいスタジオ・アルバムの制作を進めていることを発表した。 来月には、そのアルバムからのファースト・シングルがリリースされる予定とのこと。彼らのソーシャルメディアをフォローしておこう!

Haste The Day are gearing up for their long-awaited return with new music set to drop in October. The Indiana metalcore outfit has been quiet since their 2015 album Coward, which preceded a hiatus that left the band inactive for years.

Last February, the group officially resurfaced, and just last month, they confirmed work on a new studio album. Fans can likely expect the first single from that record to hit next month.

Southampton-based metalcore outfit Our Hollow, Our Home recently faced some internal challenges that led to a split within the band. Despite these setbacks, the band is determined to see their current album cycle through to the end.

Today the group released a new visualizer for the band’s latest single “In Reflection” off the groups final album Hope & Hell due out September 27th via Arising Empire.

アメリカ・オハイオを代表するメタルコア/ポストハードコア・バンド、Attack Attack!が、ニュー・シングル 「We All Meet Up In The End」をOxide Recordsから配信リリースしました。 前の3枚のシングルと同様、この曲には元ギタリストのAndrew Whitingが作曲者としてクレジットされており、この曲もAndrew Whitingが脱退する前に書かれたものと思われる。

Ohio metalcore outfit Attack Attack! have shared a fourth single, “We All Meet Up In The End”, via Oxide Records.

As with the previous three singles, former guitarist Andrew Whiting is given a writing credit on the track, so it too seems to have been written before the guitarist’s departure.

Poison The Well、15年振りのニューアルバムを制作中か

フロリダ出身のメタルコア・バンド、Poison The Well (ポイズン・ザ・ウェル)は、2009年にリリースしたフルアルバム『The Tropic Rot』の続編をリリースする予定であることを明らかにした。 この6枚目のスタジオ・アルバムは、バンドにとって15年ぶりの作品となるが、今のところ多くの情報は明かされていない。 ニュー・アルバムのニュースは、バンドが今月初めにリリースした新しいボックス・セットに収録された短いメモの形でもたらされた。 このボックス・セットは即日完売。同梱のメモにはこうある：

「やあみんな、Poison The Wellの歴史に貢献してくださったすべての方々に深く感謝いたします。 長年にわたる皆さんの揺るぎないサポートは、私たちにとって大きな意味を持っています。 このリリースにご協力いただいた方々には特に感謝いたします。 一人一人の名前を挙げることはできませんが、私たちは心からの感謝の気持ちを持って、すべてのサポートを大切にしていることを知っておいてください。 あなたがいなければ、Poison The Wellは存在しなかったのです。  15年以上ぶりとなる新しいスタジオ・アルバムに取り組むにあたり、ちょっとした気晴らしだと思ってください。 それを皆さんと分かち合うのが待ち遠しいです」。

Poison The Well has shared plans to finally release a follow up to group’s 2009 full-length The Tropic Rot. The sixth studio album will be the first from the band in fifteen years and as of now not much information has been revealed.

News of the new album comes in the form of a short note included in the new box set the band released earlier this month. Which sold out the same day.
