ROMAN CANDLE are a visceral and emotionally charged hardcore band from Las Vegas, Nevada, built around the creative core of Piper Ferrari (vocals) and Jonas Vece (guitar). Emerging from the ashes of their former project sowithout., the two formed ROMAN CANDLE with a vision to push the boundaries of hardcore through vulnerability, intensity, and intentionality.
Rooted in the lineage of bands like Saetia, Touché Amoré, and Poison The Well, ROMAN CANDLE blends classic screamo sensibilities with a modern edge—balancing raw catharsis and poetic tension. Their 2022 debut EP Discount Fireworks marked them as a standout in the Las Vegas underground. After spending much of 2023 & 2024 showcasing their new material live, the band’s reputation for emotionally resonant, tightly wound songs that leave nothing on the table was further cemented. The band also spent a considerable amount of time on the road with bands like Dying Wish, Boundaries, Militare Gun, Foreign Hands, Pool Kids and one off shows with Touché Amoré, Botch, Better Lovers and more.
Known for fiercely passionate live performances, ROMAN CANDLE has become a vital voice in the evolving Las Vegas hardcore scene. As a femme-fronted band, Piper Ferrari brings a rare and welcome presence to the genre, challenging norms and creating space for a more inclusive scene. 【Biography】
2002年、東京で結成された5人組バンドCrystal Lakeは、ハードコア／メタルコアをルーツに、キャッチーなメロディと圧倒的なヘヴィネスを融合させた独自のサウンドで知られる。その音楽性は国境を越えて高く評価されており、圧巻かつエネルギッシュなステージで世界各地の観客を魅了し続けている。
新ヴォーカリスト・Johnの加入を機にCrystal Lakeは新章へ。ドイツの名門メタル・レーベルのCentury Media Recordsと契約し、バンドの歴史に新たな1ページを刻む。
元 I Prevail のクリーン・ヴォーカリスト Brian Burkheiser が、新ソロ・プロジェクト Scatterbrain を正式にスタートさせた。第一弾として、Taylor Swift の “Look What You Made Me Do” をメタルにアレンジしたカバー楽曲およびミュージックビデオを公開している。
Australian metalcore outfit Northlane has become a vanguard of heavy music across the globe through fearless evolution and unmatched innovation. Northlane’s trajectory over the years has been nothing short of awe-inspiring. The group found their footing with two of the most beloved 2010s djent records in ‘Discoveries’ (2011) and ‘Singularity’ (2013), and the subsequent induction of vocalist Marcus Bridge in 2014. ‘Node’ (2015) and ‘Mesmer’ (2017) found the outfit embracing huge choruses and unique textures, while also maintaining a steady throughline of proggy decadence.
Fast forward to 2019 with ‘Alien’, an album that ushered in a new era of reinvention for Northlane, shifting from ethereal progressive metalcore to a darker, wilder take on the genre. While their djent sensibilities remained, ‘Alien’ (2019) signaled a shift toward embracing their love for EDM, industrial, nu-metal, and beyond. 2022’s ‘Obsidian’ further cemented the band’s reputation for unflinching creativity, incorporating elements of trip hop and trance and serving up a sonic palette replete with textured synths, primal grooves, and ferocious riffs. Northlane followed the successes of ‘Obsidian’ with ‘Mirror’s Edge’ (2024), an album saturated with punchy verses and earworm choruses.
Coming off the release of ‘Node: Reloaded’ (2025), an album featuring reworked cuts from their influential 2015’s ‘Node’, Northlane brings a reimagined darkness and industrial edge to their Audiotree From Nothing performance. Playing songs from ‘Mirror’s Edge’ (2024), ‘Obsidian’ (2022), ‘Alien’ (2019), ‘Singularity’ (2013), and ‘Discoveries’ (2011), Northlane puts their past, present, and future on full display through chugging breakdowns, heavy guitar work, and a special guest feature from Thornhill’s Jacob Charlton. イギリス出身のメタルバンド Sylosis が、7作目のスタジオ・アルバム『The New Flesh』を 2026年2月20日に Nuclear Blast Records からリリースすることを発表した。あわせて、同名の表題曲「The New Flesh」のミュージックビデオと配信も公開された。

オーストラリア・アデレードを拠点とするメタルコア・バンド Make Them Suffer が、米オハイオ州シンシナティでの公演中に、キーボーディスト／ヴォーカリスト Alex Reade がステージを途中退場したと発表した。今回のツアーは Fit For a King、 Spite、 156 /Silence との北米巡演中であった。
この楽曲は、バンドが本領としてきた激しいギター・リフやスクリームを残しつつ、クリーン・ボーカルとシンセを前面に出した“左へ振れた”サウンドとして位置付けられており、リード・シンガー Michael Barr は「悪習とされる習慣こそ、人生を支える唯一のものになっていることを見つめた曲だ」と語っている。
Spiritbox、Secret & Whisper、Kitsune、Shark Infested Daughtersの元メンバーによって結成され、2024年6月に初来日を果たしたカナダのメタルコア・バンド、Tidebringer の再来日ツアーが2025年12月に開催されます。初来日ツアーでは東京・赤羽ReNYにて開催された「ALPHA DOPE FEST.」への出演やスプリット作品をリリースしたSailing Before The Windとの共演もあり、大いに盛り上がりました。今回も最初の来日で出会った多くのバンド、ファンとの再会の場ともしつつ、最新作『I Feel Crushed by my Own Malice』のレコ発ツアー (リリース : New Blood Records) にもなっているので、見逃さないで欲しい！
